• 4 to 6 Idli

  • 1 Onion , chopped

  • 1 Tablespoon Butter

  • Salt , to taste

  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder

  • 1 teaspoon Pav bhaji masala

  • 1 Lemon

  • Coriander (Dhania) Leaves , fistful, finely chopped

How to make Tawa Idli Recipe

  • First slice idlis into cubes.

  • Heat butter , once butter is heated , add onions , saute them, they turn translucent.

  • Add salt, red chili powder, garam masala and pav bhaji masala and stir once the, onions are sautéed.

  • Add about 1/2 a cup of water and allow it to boil for a while.

  • Add the idlis sliced and blend well until the idlis cover the spices.Cook for half minut

  • Sprinkle with lemon juice and garnish with leaves of coriander, providing a fast stir to the tawa idlis.
